Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Director Food & Nutrition Services, the coordinator plans and oversees the service requirements for retail, doctor’s dining room, catered hospital events and functions. He/she is responsible for room reservations and catering requests for meetings and events system wide. The coordinator is responsible for promoting, planning, and executing events internally as well as offsite. The position responsibilities include the booking, set-up, tear down, and working with outside vendors like linen and flowers. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent customer service skills and pays close attention to details. He/she will also be providing confidential administrative support to the director including but not limited to invoices, phone calls, emails, creating menus etc.

Minimum Education Requirement :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

Basic Computer Skills especially word, powerpoint and publisher. Prior coordinating experience required. Excellent customer service skills required.
