Job Summary

Functions as lead tech by training techs and monitoring compliance. Performs/assists scheduling staff. Serves as a resource to staff. Responsible for collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for patient care. Collaborates with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient care is provided. Handles medications in the process of assembling instrument trays for sterilization and distribution to Nursing units.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

High School or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Two years Hospital Central Sterile Supply Technician experience is required. Demonstrated leadership experience is required. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement:

IAHCSMM, CBSP or CST certification required.

Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
