Job Summary

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Total Rewards and Employee Relations, the Senior Human Resources Generalist provides advice and support to the HR team, Emanate Health staff members and leaders. Acts as a resource for employees and managers regarding Human Resource policies and procedures. Develops, writes, and maintains job descriptions. Provides key support for retirement plan administration, wellness program and all other benefit programs. Supports Employee Relations by conducting investigations and making recommendations based on findings. May assist recruitment with job fairs or other related activities and may also check references, certification and licensure, education, and other appropriate background and qualifying data. 

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor`s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related field required. Minimum of seven years Human Resource experience.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Minimum of seven years` experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare, required. Experience in a union environment.  Extensive knowledge of ERISA and employment and labor law required. Candidate should possess excellent mediation, problem- solving, and conflict resolution skills to reach satisfactory resolutions of employee relations issues while remaining fair and impartial. Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent collaboration skills and results oriented. Excellent customer service skills required.
