Position Summary
The Corporate Director Cancer Center is responsible for the overall management, development, and operational performance of multi-disciplinary, hospital outpatient department clinics in the Medical Center. In partnership with the Nurse Executive at Queen of the Valley and Hematology/ Oncology Physician Lead, the director will lead the development and execution of operational strategy and oversee daily operations of assigned clinics. The director is accountable for the clinics’ financial performance, revenue capture, patient experience, timeliness of care, recruitment, employee engagement, physician relations, business planning, personnel management, facilities maintenance, and information technology. The Executive Director will partner closely with nursing, service line, and access leadership to ensure the highest quality of care and safety while reducing barriers to access. The director is responsible for growing the practice through collaboration with enterprise leaders and external partners and works in matrixed model to deliver enterprise solutions in ambulatory care. The director is responsible for the development of and adherence to annual operating and capital budgets. They will partner with enterprise colleagues to create decision support tools, dashboards, and reports to guide operational and quality improvements, including benchmark analyses. They will develop and monitor key performance indicators and lead enterprise-wide initiatives. The director is accountable to ensuring patient experience goals are met and access to care is timely. They set goals, drive outcomes, and create efficient processes. The director will establish and communicate the vision for care delivery within the clinics. He/she will leverage strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with external partners and organizational colleagues.
Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred
Minimum Experience Requirement :
10 years in an oncology setting; Experience working in a medical/hospital setting preferably managing multiple locations . Experience with physicians and high level executives for strategic planning, operations and problem solving .Meditech experience preferred.

Pay Range:
$78.41 - $115.27
