Job Summary
Under the leadership of the Chief Philanthropic Officer, Emanate Health Foundation seeks a Director of Major and Corporate
Giving who will develop and execute long- and short-term strategies to grow a philanthropic pipeline and secure annual,
major, planned, and principal gifts that will benefit endowments, health line service programs, facilities, instrumentation, and
patient experience for three community hospitals and a stand-alone ten-bed hospice care unit. This position will work closely
with appropriate Emanate Health medical leaders and CPO to meet with prospective donors and will manage a portfolio of
approximately 100 individual donors, traveling locally for qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship purposes. The
Director is an ambassador for Emanate Health Foundation to the community and must be a superb communicator who is able
to articulate the strategic vision of the organization, and inspire passion and enthusiasm for philanthropic giving.
Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Advanced degree and fundraising certification
preferred. Experience with Raiser’s Edge and NXT database preferred.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
At least five year of fundraising experience is required in a hospital or academic health sciences setting. A personal track
record of effective fundraising is required as well as strong relational skills. Strong verbal and written skills, with an outgoing
personality and ability to interact with physicians, staff, donors, current and grateful patients. Ability to be flexible as to work
environment, as the Foundation represents three hospitals and a hospice. Requires evening and weekend commitments.
Excellent customer service skills required.

Pay Range:
$49.41 - $72.64
