Job Summary

 The Manager is responsible for supervising staff and is accountable for day-to-day operations for the oncology infusion center and clinic. Responsible for managing all assigned clinic and infusion staff, developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures to improve financial performance, patient/clinic workflow and patient experience, attainment of departmental financial and productivity goals and administration of assigned budgets. He/she is responsible for coordinating staff schedules and staff assignments and participating in the performance appraisal process. The manager assesses routine daily operations and initiates appropriate actions in order to maintain and improve services and patient care. He/she promotes cooperative working relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for advancement of institutional and network goals. Demonstrates clinical competency and problem-solving skills, creating an environment which supports high-quality, cost-conscious, and comprehensive patient centered care. This includes patient examination, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources and clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the standard of care. Facilitates quality outcomes of patient care and provides leadership in the practice environment. Provides patient care as needed.

Job Requirements

a. Minimum Education Requirement :

BS/BSN preferred. MSN Preferred.

b.Minimum Experience Requirement :

Two years of supervisory experience in an oncology hospital or outpatient clinic setting. Excellent customer service skills required. Computer experience or coursework in computer preferred.

c.Minimum License Requirement :

 California RN license. BLS and ACLS required. Certification in oncology nursing preferred (OCN).

$49.41 - $72.64
