Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Accounting supports the Corporate Director of Accounting and coordinates with the Assistant Director of Ambulatory Accounting to provide financial reporting services for multiple entities. Prepares and reviews general ledger accounting entries and account reconciliations. Prepares and reviews monthly financial reporting, analysis files and presents results to various stakeholders including the executive leadership team, as requested. Prepares board and bond rating agency presentations, coordinates with the external auditors in support of the financial statement audit and other regulatory filings, and performs technical accounting analysis for non-routine transactions.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

Five years of accounting experience required. Three healthcare accounting related experience required. Some supervisory experience is required. Advanced Spreadsheet skills are required. Excellent detail orientation; communication skills. Excellent customer service skills.
