Job Summary

 Physician Relations Specialist work as liaisons to healthcare providers. Responsible for creating long-term relationships with providers and engaging with them regularly to ensure providers appropriately informed and updated on products, service offerings, and the latest technology available to them. Assists in helping expand the IPA network brand by collaborating with physicians and office staff.

Job Requirements

a. Minimum Education Requirement :

High School Diploma required. Some college education preferred

b. Minimum Experience Requirement :

5 years of provider relations experience in an IPA or Health Plan setting. Knowledge of HEDIS, HCC, and RAF strongly preferred. Strong organizational problem solving and time management skills and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and writing skills. Proficient use of Microsoft office programs. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and analyze projects or issues as they arise. Ability to communicate effectively with all areas within and outside of the organization i.e patients, physicians, administration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects. High level of initiative.

c. Minimum License Requirement :

California Driver’s license and proof of insurance. May require driving between locations.
