Job Summary

Conducts clinical speech and language pathology services including patient evaluation, interpretation of evaluation results and intervention relating to various diagnoses for adult and geriatric patients. The therapist will accurately assess and treat language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insult/disease, developmental disabilities and delays, impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition or change in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery. Communicates with physicians and other referral sources, and provides clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel. Works with various healthcare team members.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Meets educational requirements for ASHA certification and current California licensure in Speech Pathology.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

2 years of licensed SLP experience is required. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement:

Current California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. BLS required. Certifications required for specific procedures.
