Job Summary
Oversees the Employee Health department which includes new staff onboarding, injury management, Worker's Compensation, Leave of Absence, and annual health maintenance of staff. Must have knowledge of State and Federal regulations that affect our practice and experience with the Joint Commission and California Department of Public Health surveys and requirements. In addition, the director is responsible for decision making, daily operations, participates on committees that oversee safety, environment of care, analysis of new products, and infection control. Able to provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and direction to Employee Health Manager and staff. Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and ability to engage and encourage staff and leaders.

Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration or other health related field is preferred.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
Five years of Workers' Compensation experience and Employee Health operations. Excellent customer service skills preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related occupation with demonstrated. Supervisory and leadership abilities,
including managing and mentoring others. Knowledge of California leave of absence laws that include ADA, FMLA, FEHA, PDL, CFRA, PFL, TTD, PD and military. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and possess organizational and time management skills. Robust Process Improvement experience is preferred.

c. Minimum License Requirement :
California LVN or RN license required. BLS certification required. Certificate in Worker's Compensation Claims Management is preferred.

Pay Range:

$49.41-72.64 an hour
